About this event
Come and celebrate Cornwall’s patron saint at his original site of worship, the oldest Christian building on mainland UK, St Piran’s Oratory.
Blow out the cobwebs and walk from Perran Sands holiday park across to dunes, stopping at the Oratory and heading onto the second Church, which was built after the Oratory was subsumed by the sands.
Now uncovered, the Oratory will host St Piran, his original disciples and relics.
Bring along your flags and daffodils and your singing voices and make merry!
Meet 2pm on Sunday 2nd March at Piran Point on the Perran Sands holiday park site.

The walk is a couple of miles across open country and sand dunes so unfortunately not suitable for those with limited mobility.
