About this event
Steve is known for his amazing inventive English concertina song accompaniments to well sung songs. He plays mandolin and tenor banjo and his variety of material and execution is stunning, his performances are characterised by strong melodies and a warm connection with the audience.
He played at Philleigh Folk a few years ago, has headlined festivals throughout the UK, recently touring the USA, Australia and Finland. His new ninth album Curious Times, featuring Martin Carthy has had great reviews including the top ‘Must Listen’ review in Folk London.
