About this event
Explore creative printmaking in this free drop-in session with award-winning artist Fran Rowse. Inspired by Make Do and Mend, you’ll experiment with everyday household objects to design and create your own prints and stickers. A fun, hands-on workshop blending contemporary techniques with imaginative reuse of materials.
Fran Rowse is a Cornish photographer and curator. Working across photography, digital art, mixed media, and archival practice, her work centres on the overlooked lives and stories of women and girls in the South West of England. Rooted in lived experience as a former fisherwoman from a working-class background, her practice bridges rural communities and the art world through collaborative, socially engaged projects.
While the museum remains closed for essential repairs, this event will take place in the Courtyard of the Keep. All events will be held under cover, thanks to the kind loan of The DCLI, SCLI, LI and The Rifles Association marquee.
