A magical medly of music and words celebrating our relationship with the sea: a fascinating new collaboration between celebrated author Philip Marsden and charismatic folk singer Claire Ingleheart and Femmes de la Mer
Philip Marsden celebrates Cornwall’s capacity to conjure stories, reading passages from his bestsellers, The Bronski House, The Levelling Sea, Rising Ground, The Summer Isles and Under a Metal Sky.
Claire Ingleheart sings and plays traditional music alongside her own creations with her vocal group Femmes de la Mer, providing a velvet backdrop of sound for Philip’s stories.
Before the concert view the spectacular stained glass windows in the church or enjoy a special menu in the adjacent London Road pub, bookable separately on 01579 326728
