StreetDraw24 Camborne

A free and for all community draw and exhibition in Camborne town. Hosted by Create CIC in aid of St Petrocs' work with people facing homelessness.

Join StreetDraw24 and Create CIC for our second Camborne free draw and exhibition in support of St Petrocs’ work with people facing homelessness in Cornwall. Whatever your age and whether you are an artist or an amateur, you draw regularly or haven’t drawn since school you this free event is for you!

The draw takes place in September and runs across 24 hours. All you have to do to take part is go drawing (or painting or collaging or…) during the 24 hours either alone, with friends or as part of one of our group draws. You can drop by Create’s HQ in Camborne to pick up a participation pack before the event if you like, we’d love to see you, although you don’t need one to take part.

Once you’ve created your images of this often-overlooked and surprising beautiful town then donate one or more or all of them to us at Create – you’ll find information on how to do this on the StreetDraw website.

In October there will be an exhibition with images from EVERYONE who has taken part included – in a visual love letter to Camborne! All the images in the exhibition will be sold at the same price to help raised funds for St Petrocs work with people facing or experiencing homelessness here in Cornwall.

All sorts of people find themselves experiencing problems with housing. Particularly right now and particularly in Cornwall. At St Petrocs a key aim is to make the experience of homelessness as brief as possible through dedicated efforts in rapid rehousing. By taking part in this event you can do your bit and be part of an event that is truly joyful.

Don’t think you’re too experienced or too inexperienced to take part! Everyone can take part in a StreetDraw24!
