About this event
Our holiday studio programme creates immersive installations and play-based activities that offer self-directed art experiences for children, parents and carers. Each STUDIO DO responds to the themes and broader art movements of our exhibitions and collection displays, while providing a space to test out making, experiment with ideas and take time out from the galleries. Make, play, rest, and use the studio in your own way to explore art at Tate St Ives.
This summer explore the work of Liliane Lijn and Emma Critchley through light, shape and reflections in our Foyle Studio, which has been transformed into an immersive space for creative play. Project colours on to the walls and interact with sensory shapes, jellyfish and patterns to help think about how artists use light in their work.
Have fun exploring the galleries at Tate St Ives with our Explorer Backpacks and Tate Shapes activities or draw and explore with a free Sketchbook or Art Explorer card.
26 July – 31 August 2025, 10:00–16:00. Free with a gallery admission ticket, Local’s Pass or Tate Membership.
