Things we love about Cornwall, Rice & Peas Community - summer crafts

Leona Campbell Art in collaboration with Rice and Peas, bring you an arts and crafts workshop you don’t want to miss!

Come along on Wednesday 7 August 10am-12pm, for some painting, sticking and sharing of ideas around what we all love about Cornwall.

This free family-friendly drop-in activity is for all ages and we have another session on Thursday 15 August 10am-12pm if you can’t make it this one.

About the artist: Leona Campbell is a multidisciplinary artist. Originally from London, she made Cornwall her home eight years ago. Her love of art saw her graduate with a BA (Hons) art and design. She is passionate about working within the community and sharing her love of all things art.

Details

Kresen Kernow is fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with lifts to all levels and automatic main entrance doors. Accessible toilets are available on both floors, with a fully-equipped Changing Places toilet also available on the ground floor. Separate baby changing facilities are also available on the ground floor. If you are arriving by vehicle, there are six accessible parking spaces at the Tesco side of the building and a level entrance into the building. If you are arriving on foot or wheels, from Redruth town centre, the closest entrance is at the end of the public path which runs through the old brewery site, from Chapel Street to Kresen Kernow.
