About this event
St Ives School of Painting are launching their Sunday Kids Art Club online.
Aimed primarily at children between 7 and 12 but younger ones can join in with help from an adult or older sibling.
These fun workshops are just £10/session and the whole family can join in together for just one fee.
On the 7th Feb, we will be taking inspiration from artist Ben Nicholson who painted views of St Ives and the harbour from his window. Looking out of your window, you will be taught how to capture what you see by using wax crayons or oil pastels to experiment making dots, lines and shapes. Then using watered down paint we will go over the crayon to build up shades of colour. This will create some colourful magic in your painting and will bring some fun into your Sunday morning.
