About this event
Did you know the sun can create energy we use at home, such as turning on a light? This is called solar energy.
Join us to learn about the future of solar energy by building a solar-powered electronic circuit and design a piece of shadow art to take home.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
Accessibility
Details
For visitors arriving by car there is a Blue Badge parking space immediately outside the entrance to Eastern House. We have a further six blue badge spaces – three on our driveway on Old Cable Lane, and three in the main car park. There are plenty of toilets at the site and baby changing facilities. All our buildings have access for buggies and pushchairs. If you would like to discuss accessibility requirements for the museum, please email us [email protected] and a member of our team will be happy to make arrangements for you. Details of a visual guide and visual narrative can be found on the 'Visiting the Museum' section of the website.
