Step into decades Cornish seaside nostalgia with this heartwarming community exhibition. Surfing Memories showcases personal and family surf holiday memories from locals and visitors, featuring photographs that tell the story of Cornwall’s enduring appeal as a surf destination.
Browse through black-and-white snapshots alongside colourful family moments in this celebration of Cornwall’s coastal heritage that captures joy, laughter, and the timeless magic of Cornish beach holidays across generations. The exhibition offers visitors a chance to explore personal photographs spanning several decades and heartfelt stories of family traditions.

Details
There are five levels in the Museum, all of which are accessible by lift or ramp. Accessible toilets are located on the first and second floors and there are larger facilities available if required. An ADi Room Mate is installed in the accessible toilet near to the Waterside Cafe – ADi is an audio device for blind and visually impaired visitors.
