Giving foodies the chance to experience a taste of Truro this October!
For this year’s Truro Food Festival, Executive Chef Nick Hodges and Head Chef Erkki Mikk will be hosting an intimate tasting evening in The Library at The Alverton, in collaboration with Annie Sibert from ‘My Fish Kitchen’ and James Greet from ‘The Greet Cheese’. The evening will be a celebration of Truro and will highlight the very best seafood, grass-fed meats and harvest from our ‘Great Little City’.
Ticket holders can expect to savour the flavours of local land and sea at this intimate event. Starting with seared scallops and pickled samphire, they’ll then savour native mussels and oysters with saffron, followed by seared fillet of Nanteague Farm beef. Guests will then finish on a sweet note with end of season blackberries, cider brandy anglaise and a plate of carefully selected Cornish cheeses.
