Explore creative tech ideas and begin prototyping inventions in this workshop produced by TECgirls.

As part of Bude Castle Heritage Centre’s Gurney Inventors Competition, TECgirls will be delivering this Creative Ideas Lab! This is an opportunity for kids to get creative with ideas and begin to plan out their inventions for the competition.

Kids will have the opportunity to use different creative media to design their potential inventions, then bring them to life by learning basic circuitry skills to add interactive LED lights.
This is a space for kids to have fun, get creative, and learn new transferable skills!

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.

Details

The Castle is fully accessible, with a lift to provide access to the first floor. Accessible parking is available at the very front of The Castle building and accessible toilet facilities are available on the ground floor.
