TECgirls Easter Club

Easter club available to girls aged 8-13 who love creativity and technology.

Our TECgirls Easter clubs are packed full of exciting activities for girls that love creativity and technology, from unplugged gaming days and robots to animation studios. We have something for everyone!

No previous experience is needed for our workshops. We start right from the beginning and keep everything simple and easy to learn with engaging games and fun activities.

The Workshops

Monday 8th April 10am-3pm – Junior Animation Studios & Light Up Art
In the morning, the girls will get a chance to be film directors, set designers, and camera girls for the day, creating their very own stop motion animation film (just like Wallis and Gromit!). In the afternoon, they will get creative with light up artwork, which they will be able to take home with them.

Tuesday 9th April 10am-3pm – Paint and Play with Lego Robots
A super fun day playing with robots and creating art! Girls will get the chance to build a Lego robot, and learn some basic coding skills to move their robot around the floor. We then attach paintbrushes and watch as the robot brings their artwork to life!

Wednesday 10th April 10am-3pm – Creative Coding and Secret Code bracelets
Girls will have the chance to make their very own wearable piece of tech that can count their steps (or bunny hops!). In the afternoon, the girls will transform into spies and create their own secret code bracelets. Will you be able to crack their code?

Thursday 11th April 10am-3pm – Unplugged Girls in Gaming Day
Perfect for girls that love games. This club will get girls bringing their imagination to life through designing their very own games character. Afterwards, they will work together to draw, design and build their very own game with friends!

These sessions are completely free to children on free school meals, and we also have a number of limited self-funded spaces available.
