About this event
Free creative tech-making workshop for children (4-14) and families!
Stop-Motion Animation:
Design your own stage, create your story and bring it to life with technical filming and editing skills! Using clay, paper, and other props we will help you to create stop-motion animations. The animations can be filmed on the tablets provided or on your own phone, using a free app. These animations will be uploaded to a dedicated section of the TECgirls YouTube Channel and will be shared with Screen Cornwall and other museum partners to help tell climate change stories. This is a great activity for playing with making as well as technical filming and editing.
Creative Circuits:
Using simple electronics like circuit tape and LEDs, kids will be able to light up their own drawings with the press of a button or construct their very own lighthouse using repurposed plastic bottles!
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
