Textiles workshop using collage, stitch & print, taking home a bookmark & small sample
Explore the world of textiles with international artist Elaine Foster-Gandey in a hands-on embellishment workshop. We will be making a collage & a book mark that uses the techniques of collage, embroidery, stitching and print – it is a super fun process with no prior skills necessary.
Elaine has had over three decades working in the Fashion Industry working with famous Designers, models, photographers and brands before following her true passion of fine art & Textiles. The artist will be sharing her expertise, with insights about her recent Arts Council awarded project, ‘Hope – Weaving Communities Together,’ being exhibited at the Venice Biennale’s personal structures exhibition this year.
The workshop caters to both adults and children, reflecting Elaine’s dedication to teaching art and textiles in Cornwall, Kent and East Sussex.
