We’re hosting an extra special treat in our Great Hall in Truro – afternoon tea prepared The Alverton way. Join us on Saturday 7th November for our afternoon tea party, when pianist Roger Miners will be setting the scene with melodic music. With the dreamy acoustics of the grand Great Hall, head to our hotel on the hill for a little escape from the ordinary.

Enter through the old oak doors and fall in love with the breath-taking, dramatic architecture of our Great Hall. Book with your bubble of up to six people and prepare for a delightful afternoon of food, tea, entertainment and even a few tipples if you choose to! It’s time to relax, unwind and indulge.

As well as elegant finger sandwiches, proper Cornish home baked scones with jam and clotted cream, and our Pastry Chef Matt‘s exquisite showstopping miniature cakes and desserts, gorgeous music from award-winning pianist Roger Miners will set the mood for an afternoon of total indulgence.

Roger will be performing from 2pm – 3pm and then again at 3:30pm – 4:30pm. A perfect accompaniment for your trip to this Truro afternoon tea party.

PLEASE NOTE: Limited spaces available. All tables will be socially distanced. Booking is capped at a maximum of groups of six people in line with the recent government laws. Tables must contain no more than two separate households.
