The show will see the whole of Tubular Bells l performed in full, along with extended sections of Tubular Bells ll and lll, as well as worldwide hit single Moonlight Shadow.
This epic live show features an incredible group of musicians, led and arranged by Oldfield’s long-time collaborator Robin Smith.
Originally composed when Oldfield was just 17, Tubular Bells became one of the most influential pieces of music of its time – and laid the foundations for a trilogy of visionary albums spanning over 17 years. From the haunting themes of the original 1973 release, to Tubular Bells II (famously premiered at Edinburgh Castle) and Tubular Bells III (with music featured in the London 2012 Olympics), each album pushes boundaries with theatrical, richly layered sound.
