THE BIG GREEN ENVIRONMENT SHOW is a month long series of events, art, workshops and activities.

At Saltash Library Hub we have a month long series of events, art installations, activities, workshops and storytelling. There is something for all ages to learn about the environment around us.

Starting Wednesday June 1st STOP PLASTIC POLUTION Art installation by Judy Harington and launch of STOP PLASTIC POLLUTION poster competition.

Starting Wednesday June 1st OUR ENVIRONMENT music and video installation from Livewire Youth Music Project.

Saturday June 4th (10am-1pm) Ecologist, conservationist and author LISA SCHNEIDAU – Theatrical Storytelling & tails for families, adults and children.

Thursday June 9th (10am, 11.30am and 1.30am) SEADREAM EDUCATION a day of childrens environment and conservation workshops with Dr Juliette Jackson.

Monday June 13th (2 – 5pm) UNDERSTANDING HABITATS with ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS – Chris Johnson will be bringing in species from around the world to help us understand their eco-systems and what we can do to slow down climate change. Suitable for all ages.

Saturday June 18th (10am) Childrens Environmental Author ELLIE JACKSON will be book reading with complimentary environmental workshop.

Saturday June 25th (10.30 am – midday) STOP PLASTIC POLLUTION Dreamcatcher workshop with environmental artist Judy Harington. Using reclaimed plastics Judy will help you make your very own Dreamcatcher.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
