Diane, a writer, is trapped in a Cornish cottage on Bodmin Moor during a supernatural event in which birds begin attacking and killing anyone they can reach. Joined by two other survivors, Diane begins to realise that the real danger, perhaps, comes not from outside the door but by something far more dangerous lying within.
