Join us in Perranporth for an evening of trad music with Glaswegian trio The Canny Band.

Glasgow based trio of musicians The Canny Band will be headlining the Lowender Sessions at Perranporth Memorial Hall, Saturday 9 September. Doors open at 7pm and there will be a bar if you fancy a drink whilst tapping your feet.

The Canny Band is made up of Sam Mabbett, Michael Biggins (BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2021) and Callum Convoy. They’ll be supported by Finley and Zingo, 2 up and coming local musicians bringing their own energetic take on Cornish music to audiences. Finley Bray, who plays guitar, and Zingo Warde on the uilleann pipes hail from Cornwall and Devon have been pipped as ones to watch on the local music scene.
