About this event
KIERAN BOYD was the semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny?, Amused Moose Laugh-Off, and part of Fringe favourites WitTank. Kieran has been performing his inventive, high-energy stand up across the country for five years. He gigs for Avalon, CKP, The Stand, Komedia, and Highlight amongst others as well as numerous shows at the Edinburgh Festival. 2020 has seen him support Ed Byrne and Ed Gamble on tour.
ABIGAIL CARTER-SIMPSON entered the world of comedy in 2017 when she joined the cast of ‘Newsrevue’ for their annual Edinburgh run. Newsrevue holds the Guinness World Record for the Longest Theatrical Run of A Comedy and is a show that seems something of a ‘right of passage’ for many of the big names in comedy. She found a knack for writing and performing comedy which led to many a great accolade and experience. She uses the four chords she knows on a ukulele to bring her act to life writing about the mediocre trappings of life alongside catchy tunes! A regular on the comedy circuit, she was the support act for Simon Brodkin in 2019 and has reached great heights in prestigious comedy competitions, including finalist at the Max Turner Prize 2020 – Finalist, and Semifinalist in So You Think You’re Funny 2019.
“With Abigail’s incredible comedy and voice, she is certainly one to watch out for in the future.” West End Wilma
Featuring resident MC, TOM GLOVER – a highly sought-after-act who is capable of bringing laughter to any room.
