The Invisible Monkey - Kernow Chamber Players

Magical characters, songs, dance, acrobatics and lots of laughter.

THE INVISIBLE MONKEY is the ideal family show for this holiday season.

In the story, lonely young Zach longs to have a pet of his own, but is forbidden by his cruel Aunt Hettie, whose only interest in small animals is for her nightly carnivorous culinary adventures: “Mice mushed up till nice and gooey/and mixed into a ratatouille”.

Wandering outside in despair, he meets a Pet Pedlar, with highly unusual pets for sale: a sillipede, a hurtle, a haterpillar, and strangest of all, an Invisible Monkey. Maybe the monkey is the answer to Zach’s dilemma, a pet that Aunt Hettie will never discover – or will it cause him even more trouble?
