About this event
Isabel Losada isn’t interested in learning any more about the climate crisis and suspects that you aren’t either. We all know how bad it is. Therefore her single minded focus is on all the solutions we can find and can enjoy.
The author, comedienne and environmentalist explores ‘How to Practise Without Preaching’ in the way we bank, heat our homes, travel, garden, dress, holiday, shop, lobby, volunteer, eat, furnish our homes and organise our digital lives. She shows that all the actions we can take in order to live a 1.5 degree lifestyle, and help our planet, are also those which most enrich our lives. No prisoners will be taken and Isabel sends her audience away with a notebook full of ideas, suggestions and actions to be taken.
About Isabel
Isabel Losada is the author of ‘The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment’ & ‘For Tibet, with Love’ ‘Men,’ ’The BatterseaPark Road to Paradise’ ‘Sensation,’ ‘The Joyful Environmentalist’ The books combine humour with a serious examination of the subject matter. She is also a comedian & public speaker & has spoken for 20 years across the UK from Penzance to Edinburgh Festivals via The Hay Festival & all the great festivals in between. She comes highly recommended.

We strive to offer a comfortable and accessible experience for all visiting Sterts. If you have a specific access requirement you would like to talk to us about in advance of your visit please email [email protected] or call 01579 362382. All our seating is unreserved. If you need to reserve a seat due to an accessibility requirement, e.g. you need to sit near the front to lip read, please contact us directly after booking your ticket and we will make the necessary arrangements. We do not currently have an ear loop installed. This is a provision we are committed to and hope to provide in the near future. If you require a free carer ticket, please contact our Box Office on 0333 666 3366. For any other access requirements please flag this when you book. We have two accessible toilets and a changing place facility on site. The changing place provides a larger accessible space with equipment including a changing bench and a hoist to support disabled people who need assistance.
