The Leylines are a five-piece band hailing from Weston-super-Mare (via Bristol). Since 2013, they have been bringing their unique blend of foot-stomping folk and full-blown festival rock to crowds across the UK. For the first time ever, they will be doing a very special performance in what has to be one of the most remarkable settings for live performance in the country, Carnglaze Caverns.
The first of the three Caverns, the Rum Store, was one of the nation’s safe storage areas during WW2. It is now used as a 400 capacity concert and event venue with outstanding acoustics and atmosphere, offering a wide range of musical entertainment and events throughout the year.
Support from Sound of the Sirens
Westcountry folk-rock duo Sound of the Sirens released brand new album This Time on 25 January 2019 on independent label DMF Records
Their debut album For All Our Sins was released in 2017 to wide praise including from R2 Magazine who called it a “stunning debut collection”. New album This Time continues to showcase an evident gift for crafting unique, vivid and enduring melodies with 15 catchy and heartfelt songs all written by Sound of the Sirens, aka Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood, whose voices harmonise beautifully throughout the album.
Their live shows combine a natural facility for connecting with their audiences and unforgettable performances with warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction.
