About this event
Each sculpture is finished with matte engobe colours, allowing painterly layers to sit cleanly on vertical surfaces during the 1260°C firing. Durable and vivid, the pieces are suitable for both indoor and outdoor display.
Together, the sculptures act as quiet signals — drawing attention to shifting light, changing climates, and the fragile balance between environment and form.
Practicalities: The exhibition is wheelchair access.
Bea Green’s gardening observations is part of her on going Environmental Ceramic sculptures, exemplifying her love of Nature’s natural flowing forms. After returning to Devon, her heightened awareness of the region’s low daylight levels prompted a new focus on the quiet environmental shifts affecting daily life.
Bea studied Ceramics & Painting to degree level enabling her to work with an international cliental for over 25 years . Her work is owned in public and private collections across Europe, in New Zealand and in Japan’s Tajimi Museum.
