About this event
A step into the wonderful Par Bay.
From midday ’til 6 on the 4th September at Par Track!
You’ll find a host of amazing PAR-formances – including acrobats, parkour, dance and giant puppets. You’ll find free workshops you can PAR-ticipate in – from spray can art to mono printing, from doodle-hooping to dream catcher making and paint spinning.
You’ll find great coffee, pizza and ice cream you can PAR-take of – including plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. And if you make a willow-withy fish with us you can PAR-ade it in the procession of the site that will close the festival, led by giant lanterns and live musicians. You’ll also meet many of our community PAR-tners.
This is a free family festival for the community and guests. You don’t want to miss it! But we encourage you to use public transport to get here! The festival is situated right beside Par train station and sits on several bus routes.
It is funded by Creative Civic Change with support from Par Bay Community Trust, AMATA, FEAST, Hall For Cornwall, Par Track Ltd, Arts Council England & Walter Bailey.
