Easter Holidays Workshop
Become one of the many potters who have learnt to throw on a wheel at Leach Pottery. From centering your clay to controlling the wobbles, potters will experience the basics of throwing.

When: School Holidays, please see dates below
Where: Beagle Cross, Leach Pottery
Who for: Ages 7-11 and 12-18, under 18s to be dropped off and collected by an adult.
Equipment & materials: Provided. Please bring your own apron and wear clothes which aren’t precious to you.Cost: £8 per child

This course will: introduce you to throwing. The Leach Pottery is mindful about how much pottery is fired in the kilns to ensure we thoughtfully use resources and minimise our CO2 emissions. Therefore, pots made by throwing beginners are not fired. This workshop focuses on the process and enjoyment of throwing.
