Join us for two performances of the ancient Reeve Ceremony at Godolphin.

The Reeve Ceremony has been practised at Godolphin for hundreds of years on Candlemas. Join us for a live historical re-enactment of a fun, quirky and unique piece of Cornish history and discover how the Godolphin family nearly lost the house and family fortune in a snail race.

There will be two dramatic performances by a local performer, Mark Harandon, and both will be signed by a BSL translator. The first performance will be 11.30-12.00pm, and the second performance will be 13.00pm-13.30pm.

Uneven terrain with some steep slopes and steps. Accessible parking and drop-off point available. Powered mobility vehicle (Tramper) available to hire. Accessible toilet in Piggery tea-room. Also BSL tours on tablet, easy-read guide, large print guide and visual story available. Both performances BSL translated.
