The Stress Sucks January Reset Retreat is a calm, half-day wellbeing experience designed to help you slow down, reset and reconnect after the busyness of the festive season and the start of the year.

Held at SeaSpace, Newquay, this retreat offers a welcoming, down-to-earth space to pause and restore your nervous system, without pressure, performance or prior experience required. It is ideal for locals, creatives, busy professionals, parents and anyone feeling a little stretched or overwhelmed.

The morning will include guided breathwork, meditation and gentle journaling, alongside practical tools you can take away and use in everyday life to manage stress and find more balance. The approach is accessible and grounded, focusing on real-life support rather than self-improvement or anything overly prescriptive.

A nourishing lunch is included, with time to rest, reflect and enjoy the coastal setting. The retreat is intentionally unhurried, allowing space to fully settle and leave feeling calmer, clearer and more resourced.

The session is led by Kylie Griffiths, founder of Stress Sucks, a Cornwall-based wellbeing platform offering meditation classes, retreats and practical stress support. Kylie brings a modern, inclusive approach to wellbeing, creating spaces that feel supportive, relaxed and genuinely human.

This is a small-group experience, open to all, whether you are completely new to meditation or already have an existing practice. No special equipment or preparation is needed, just a willingness to take a few hours for yourself.
