Penzance Litfest presents Colin Stringer - 'Resilience v. Blind Optimism'.

Colin Stringer will inform, amuse and possibly mystify as he compares his own career with his main character’s. When does resilience shade into blind optimism? An exploration of the pros and cons of writing a detective novel while studying for an MA in Creative Writing, with readings from the now-emerged book The Sad Detective and performances of the songs that feature in it.
