Come and join ‘The Splendid Sisters’ and be immersed in their world of film, performance and installation, in The Obligato there may be a sip of wine and a sweet treat.
You can step inside ‘The Splendid Hut’, a mobile shrine on a small boat trailer. Imagine the luminescence of a baroque chapel hidden in a small black hut. The Hut contains a secret cinema showcasing the beautiful film ‘The Seven Rituals of Hesitance and Fortitude’.
There will be two showings at the Miracle Theatre space on Saturday 16th July at 2pm and 4.30pm
Open the Box Arts is a female-led artist collaboration between Melanie Young and Caroline Schanche with 2 main objectives:
1. To create socially engaged arts projects with diverse groups of people, particularly people who may feel excluded from mainstream culture.
2. To create beautiful performances and installations that shine a light on the mysterious process of grief, loss and its resolution.
