About this event
What are you doing on Monday 1st March at 7pm?
Did you know that Gweek Players are releasing an online Murder Mystery that’s completely FREE to watch?
Petra Lyttleton, the overbearing Hall Bookings Secretary, upsets or falls out with a number of people in the village. She is then found dead on the stage. Speculation runs rife. There are many people with a possible motive but, since the hall door lock had recently been changed, very few people have keys and all of them have an alibi! Or do they? Can those under suspicion discover the identity of the true murderer?
To view the murder mystery, go on the website below and enter your name and email address to receive the link to watch the premiere of Gweek Player’s online drama. The Village Hall Murder by David Ivall will start at 7pm on Monday 1st March, 2021. No worries, if you can’t watch on 1st March – you can watch any time after that if you register on the website. There is no charge to watch the show, but there is an option to donate to the charity Carn to Cove if you so wish.
Can you work out WHODUNNIT before all is revealed?
This production has been written, rehearsed, filmed and edited entirely in isolation. No two members have met for any element. All rehearsals and creative meetings have taken place over Zoom. All sets/costumes/ props have been sourced within the home following creative consultancy or exchanged safely by delivery/post and without non-essential travel. The cast have completed all the filming themselves (or within their bubbles) and we are all guilty of exchanging a record-breaking number of emails and WeTransfer’s!
We are all very proud to have produced this production with Covid safety in mind and we hope you enjoy the drama as much as we all enjoyed creating it!
