About this event
A goddess sealed in a cave
Voices in the dark
Drunken gods
Flying babies
The winner takes it all.
Tricksters, deities, strange childhoods, complicated marriages, and cosmic crises collide in the hands of the ever-exuberant Pandvani108 ensemble!
World-class storytellers Ben Haggarty, Emily Hennessey and Steph Brittain set a high energy performance of wild myth and fairytale for grown-ups against stunning soundtracks by Raoul Neumann (Trans-Siberian March Band), Sheema Mukherjee (Transglobal Underground), and Rav Neiyyar (Bollywood Brass Band).
Expect high comedy, wild drama, punked pop, divine deception, and all things bloody beautiful, as this ever-popular troupe summon the ancient gods and monsters of Greece, Ireland, India, Japan, Iceland and more – mashing-up myth to ask what it is that we really, really want…
