Come and experience making live and recorded performances in our amazing facilities

Step into the spotlight for this hands-on performance course, where we’ll help you develop your stage and screen presence and learn essential techniques and core skills.
Focused sessions on movement, acting and voice will refine your skills, build your confidence, and equip you with knowledge to take your creativity to the next level.
Working in our professional-standard studios at the Academy of Music and Theatre Arts, you’ll gain an insight into the fundamental principles of making performance work in both live and recorded settings, and experience what studying in our amazing facilities at Falmouth is like.

Workshops on this course will cover the following topics:
Theatre making
An exploration of games and processes for the creation of live theatre work.
Voice
A gentle introduction to the basics of voice work for live and/or recorded work.
Movement
An exploration of the basic principles and techniques of movement work for live and recorded performance.
Acting for the camera
An introduction to acting in front of a camera, for recorded performance. Tips and techniques that will boost your confidence!

You’ll be taught by our experienced Falmouth University staff. All staff teaching this course are DBS cleared and have undergone our mandatory safeguarding training. Students will be supervised through the day including break times.

The course includes refreshments, lunch and all materials you’ll need for the day.
