This event is part of The Cornish Bank’s Summer Sessions. A one day festival with camping, food, a late bar, multiple acts and a Klub Nos Lowen ceilidh!

This Is The Kit, led by Kate Stables, creates remarkable musical stories that unpick emotional knots with exquisite sensitivity. Since 2008’s debut ‘Krulle Bol,’ Stables has evolved into a songwriter of rare gifts, earning an Ivor Novello nomination for the talismanic ‘Moonshine Freeze.’

Their latest album ‘Careful Of Your Keepers’ (2023), produced by Gruff Rhys, showcases Stables’ collaborative spirit and willingness to follow creative hunches. Following a beautiful cover of Rhys’ ‘Sensations In The Dark,’ the band continues to explore new sonic territories while maintaining their distinctive emotional depth.

Expect an evening of beautifully crafted songs from a band at the height of their powers. Their ‘Live at The Minack Theatre’ recording captures the magic of their performance at Cornwall’s stunning cliffside venue, featuring tracks from their critically acclaimed recent albums delivered with the tightness that comes from years of musical communion.
