The Litfest Guide to Novel Writing – part 6
Tiffany Murray is an award-winning novel writer. She also runs the Hay Festival’s development programme ‘Writers at Work’, so we are absolutely delighted that she has taken time out to participate in the LitFest Guide to Novel Writing with this character development workshop.
You have ideas, you might have many words of the page but where do you go from here? The main route into your writing is character. It doesn’t matter if it’s fiction or non-fiction. In this workshop, you will have fun exploring how to access and communicate character to your reader. This session will be supportive, productive, creative and you will be given the space to fall in love with your writing again. Be prepared to experiment and write!
