Tim and Jimmy’s Friday Feast

This spring we welcome Jimmy Doherty to Heligan.

This Spring, we welcome Jimmy Doherty to join us at The Lost Gardens, to share his love of rare breed livestock, his ambition for using farming techniques that support biodiversity and his love for a family feast whilst enjoying cooking the best of British food.

This exclusive Friday Feast will be co-hosted by special guest, Jimmy Doherty, alongside co-founder of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Sir Tim Smit. Jimmy is well known for his co-presenting of popular TV show, ‘Jimmy and Jamie’s Friday Night feast’ on Channel 4, alongside celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

Your three-course meal will be served by your special hosts, alongside Heligan’s Kitchen and Gardening Teams, having been cooked by the Heligan Chefs. The nature of the evening is one of involvement and interaction. Please note that tables may be shared with other groups or individuals so that good conversation can flow.

Be inspired by your hosts’ passion for food and discover where your meal’s ingredients came from and how they were grown and produced. These food conversations will encourage us to consider our food choices and to work together to help make our environment sustainable, diverse and capable of providing for us all in the future.

You can expect a night of laughter, conversations and delicious food. Our menus are created with delicious local, seasonal produce, as well as our very own rare breed meat from the Heligan Farm. With an opportunity to ask questions of your hosts, and to win special prizes in our raffle (tickets include automatic entry into the raffle), you are welcomed to what we hope to be an entertaining and memorable evening!

We are delighted to be making a 10% donation of proceeds from the evening to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust; the charity that Jimmy is the current president of and one that Heligan Gardens are proud members.
