About this event
We, the Tempus Fugitives, are accidental Time Travellers, lost in Old Bodmin – and we need your help! Become a Temporary Member of The Timekeeper’s Guild, and travel with us as we follow a series of time-related clues… You may also meet a few of Bodmin’s more famous – and infamous – historical characters along the way!
These three roving, story-based events take place at the Autumn Equinox 2026 – each one a series of five short pop-ups happening in and around Bodmin Town Centre. Audiences will get a free map & guide on arrival at our first pop-up site outside the Shire Hall on Mount Folly Square, where we’ll start our journey through Time!
Created by a small team of local performers to imaginatively celebrate Bodmin’s rich relationship with concepts of time, this show first ran in Spring 2026, and we’re delighted to be able to offer audiences another opportunity to experience their local heritage in entertaining new ways this September – thanks to Experience Bodmin, which is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund; and with kind support from IntoBodmin, Bodmin Town Council, St Petroc’s Church and Bodmin Way.

Details
All sites are within around five minutes’ walk of Mount Folly and Priory Car Park. Please be aware that you will be responsible for your own safety and movement between and at each of the sites. All sites are accessible, however there are spots of uneven paving in places, and a wheelchair or scooter may require a slightly longer travel time between sites. Please do let us know in advance if you have accessibility issues so we can adapt our movement plans accordingly - thank you.
