TIMEPIECE: Tempus Fugitives!

Help the Tempus Fugitives on a trail of clues in this experimental illuminated tale all about TIME on the streets of Bodmin!

The Tempus Fugitives – accidental Time travellers, lost in Old Bodmin – need your help to seek out a series of time-related clues, while also finding out about some of Bodmin’s more famous and infamous characters!

A roving, story-based and illuminated event, timed to take place on the Spring Equinox 2026, Tempus Fugitives! has been inspired by the Timekeeper’s Guild: guardians of last year’s IntoBodmin Spring Trail. A small team of local artists/performers have been exploring ways to imaginatively celebrate Bodmin’s rich relationship with concepts of time, offering audiences a chance to experience aspects of their local heritage in entertaining new ways.

Each short pop-up performance takes place in a different space; audience members will receive a map & guide to the event on first arrival at Mount Folly, containing approximate timings and sites/venues for each pop-up.

Please be aware that audiences will be responsible for their own safety and movement between each of the sites. All sites are within around ten minutes’ walk of Bodmin Town Centre.
