About this event
Join us on the 20th January for a huge one-off gig at the Miners and Mechanics Institute in St Agnes!
To Kill A King are a 5-piece indie-folk band formed in London. In January they are touring the UK presenting a track-for-track performance of their lauded debut album “Cannibals WIth Cutlery” to celebrate 10 years since its release, and with one band member now based in St Agnes, the MMI is delighted to announce a very special warm-up show on Saturday 20th Jan 🎉
These are 5 epic players and performers who have toured supporting the likes of Bastille, Frank Turner, and the Flaming Lips, played venues from the Albert Hall in London to dive bars all round the USA, and you can expect a dynamic show ranging from delicate lyrical folk to loud orchestral indie, all gracing the MMI’s humble stage!
Support will come from the wonderful Bailey Tomkinson & The Locals.
Bailey Tomkinson is a singer/songwriter hailing from St Ives, Cornwall, releasing 70’s influenced Surf-Rock, Americana, Country and Folk-Pop infused music and making headlines as an unsigned, unmanaged artist.
Bar/Doors will open from 7:30, Music starts 8pm
Tickets are £10 standard plus options of £7 (concessions) and £12 (to help cover more costs)
