About this event
Create a unique printed tote bag in this hands-on workshop with award-winning artist Fran Rowse. Learn stencil printing techniques and experiment with bold designs as you transform a plain fabric bag into a personalised piece of art. All materials are provided and included in the workshop price.
Fran Rowse is a Cornish photographer and curator. Working across photography, digital art, mixed media, and archival practice, her work centres on the overlooked lives and stories of women and girls in the South West of England. Rooted in lived experience as a former fisherwoman from a working-class background, her practice bridges rural communities and the art world through collaborative, socially engaged projects.
While the museum remains closed for essential repairs, this event will take place in the Courtyard of the Keep. All events will be held under cover, thanks to the kind loan of The DCLI, SCLI, LI and The Rifles Association marquee.
