About this event
Plant lovers, curious souls and canine companions are warmly invited to explore the gardens at Trevince as the promise of spring turns to the bloom of summer.
Trevince has been in the same family since medieval times and the gardens continue to evolve under the guardianship of the latest generation who garden for food, fun and the future to create a new horticultural legacy.
Between 27 March and 27 September, a programme of regular talks and demonstrations by horticultural experts will also be offered.
As a professional horticulturist with more than 15 years’ experience, Duana Pearson has worked in several of Cornwall’s most popular gardens, including for the National Trust, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Duana has specialised in crop production and is passionate about sharing her knowledge.
This workshop will cover practical fruit and vegetable growing for a full and productive garden.
She will also take you on a short journey through the history of productive gardens and show you how to view your garden with an artistic eye.
