About this event
Trewoon Studios is situated high on a hill with stunning views across the landscape of The Lizard. It is the workspace of artist Carolyn Thompson and it will house an exhibition of her work inspired by the Cornish landscape in all its weathers and seasons, along with work from travels to Morocco and Greece.
Carolyn works across several mediums and there will be paintings, prints, collages and drawings to view (and buy) in a range of sizes and a chance to look at her working sketchbooks and notes. This is an ideal opportunity to see an artist at work as Carolyn will be on hand, working in the studio alongside the exhibition and happy to answer any questions or discuss the work.
Accessibility
Details
This is a rural setting, down a bumpy track. Plenty of parking space and then a walk, (about 50 yards), on an uneven and sometimes slippery path to the studio. Single door entrance into a fairly crowded studio on two levels. There is space for children to play outside but they will need to be under adult supervision. It is a beautiful but wild and windy site.
Directions
Follow A3083 to The Lizard and B3293 to St. Keverne. Turn left towards St Martin. At Newton, turn right at T-junction to Manaccan. Stay on this road, pass over the bridge at and up the hill, Trewoon Farm is on the right, on the brow of the hill.
