Trio Bohémo are very excited to be returning to the UK for a series of concerts, as they feel very at home here, which is why they chose to do the recording for their debut album at the Britten Studio in Snape Maltings.
The Czech piano trio have won various prizes, including first prize in the International Filippo Nicosia Award 2021 as well as first prize and audience prize in the International Johannes Brahms Competition in the same year. They went on to win first prize in the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in 2023 and were awarded the prestigious Prize of the Czech Chamber Music Society.
This concert series follows the release of their Debut with a capital D, ‘Smetana – Schubert’, hailed as “an immensely promising debut” by The Guardian. The album was also featured as Presto Classical’s Recording of the Week upon release.
These UK concert dates are part of their international tour. It is an excellent opportunity to watch the remarkable trio perform live. Spontaneity plays a big role in their performances, ensuring no two shows are the same.
