T3A Classical Music, Aquilae Quartet (first concerts of the season)

Truro 3 Arts Classical Music are delighted to open their 2024 – 2025 season with The Aquilae Quartet.

First formed in September 2020, the Aquilae Quartet string quartet brings together undergraduates from varied backgrounds, all students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

The programme will include:-
Beethoven: String Quartet No. 9 in C major Op. 59 No. 3
Debussy: String Quartet in G minor Op. 10
Britten: Three Divertimenti for String Quartet

The string quartet will be performing at our usual venue of the Mylor Theatre in at Truro College. This purpose-built auditorium is admirably suited to chamber music.
