About this event

A beautiful and uplifting concert to start the new year.

What better way to start the New Year?! The concert opens with three beautiful movements from Mendelssohn’s Christus opus 97 based on the chorale ‘How brightly shines the morning star’. Then Saint-Saëns’s 2nd organ symphony before a sparkling finale with highlights from the world’s favourite opera ‘Carmen’.
