‘Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy, Chaplain in the First World War: A Fresh Look at His Significance for Today’ – This lecture, given by The Reverend Canon Dr Michael Brierley, will re-examine the life and legacy of the famous priest and theologian Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy M.C. a.k.a ‘Woodbine Willie’, casting light on his importance for contemporary Christian faith. Taking place in the Cathedral Restaurant, tickets are £5 on the door.
