About this event
Shakespeare’s profound comedy of love, entanglement and troublesome twins. When Viola washes up on the unfamiliar shores of Illyria, her twin brother missing, her only choice is to disguise herself as a man. As a servant to the Count Orsino, she finds herself caught up in a love triangle she cannot resolve without revealing her true identity.
So begins a whirlwind of mistaken identity and unrequited love. The nearby households of Olivia and Orsino are overrun with passion. Even Olivia’s upright housekeeper Malvolia is swept up in the madness.
Where music is the food of love, and nobody is quite what they seem, anything proves possible.
