6‑week online UX short course covering research, prototyping, testing & real-world design skills.

Falmouth University’s six week online course, UX Design: Creating a Great User Experience, is ideal for professionals or brand builders aiming to solve complex business challenges through human centred digital design. Co developed by industry experts, the course teaches the full UX process from foundational theory and user research to empathy mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing using real world scenarios. Each week focuses on a key stage of the UX journey: the UX lifecycle, research methods, journey mapping, UI visual design, interactive prototyping, and usability evaluation. Delivered through Falmouth’s online learning platform, the course includes webinars, quizzes, interactive lessons, and peer discussions, with around four hours of weekly study. Assessment is completed via a multiple choice quiz, with unlimited retakes within 30 days. Participants who pass receive a certificate of completion. This course builds practical skills and confidence to deliver effective UX solutions in any business or brand context.
