The National Maritime Museum is located in the beach side town of Falmouth near the Falmouth Docks. The impressive landmark structure was built in 1996 and designed by architects Long & Ketish. The building was designed to stand the test of time and inside, display a huge variety of exhibitions. The permanent collection and exhibitions are designed and developed by Land Design Studio. There are 15 galleries over 5 floors. The museum works with schools and colleges to create great learning experiences including sleepovers and tailoring visits for overseas groups.
